WORCESTER LINE to RESUME REGULAR SERVICE on JANUARY 6
Return of eight mid-day trains after temporary construction schedule concludes
December 20, 2024 (BOSTON) – The MBTA and Keolis Commuter Services (Keolis), the agency’s operating partner for Commuter Rail, announced today that regular service will resume on the Worcester Line on Monday, January 6. The temporary schedule put in place in November to accommodate construction on the line will conclude, and eight mid-day trains will be restored. The remaining construction activity for projects including Natick Center Station, I-90 bridge work, and the installation of an accessible platform at Wellesley Square, will be accommodated around the regular schedule beginning January 6.
The following inbound trains will resume on weekdays:
- Train 512, departing Worcester at 9:05 a.m.
- Train 516, departing Worcester at 11:00 a.m.
- Train 520, departing Worcester at 1:05 p.m.
- Train 524, departing Worcester at 3:00 p.m.
The following outbound trains will resume on weekdays:
- Train 507, departing South Station at 7:30 a.m.
- Train 511, departing South Station at 8:55 a.m.
- Train 515, departing South Station at 10:50 a.m.
- Train 519, departing South Station at 12:55 p.m.
