MBTA AND KEOLIS ASK COMMUTER RAIL PASSENGERS TO “SHARE THE LOVE” IN FEBRUARY

Sweepstakes runs until Valentine’s Day

February 4, 2025 (BOSTON) – The MBTA and Keolis Commuter Services (Keolis), the MBTA’s operating and maintenance partner for the Commuter Rail, have launched the third annual “Share the Love” sweepstakes. The contest asks Commuter Rail passengers to share the reasons why they love riding the train for a chance to win a zone ten monthly pass. Passengers can participate by sharing the love online at www.massbytrain.com/sharethelove or by submitting their response in person at a Share the Love pop up event at North and South Stations. The contest runs through February 14.

“The Healey Driscoll Administration’s vision for the state transportation system is shaped by what people in our communities tell us they want and need to travel to important destinations,” said Transportation Secretary and CEO Monica Tibbits-Nutt. “The ‘Share the Love’ initiative is another way for us to hear from residents about the essential role of public transportation in their lives and its many benefits, which bring meaning to their daily routines. Our customers' stories underscore that the quality of life is vastly improved when people have options to travel by public transportation.”

“At Keolis, we love having the opportunity to serve Commuter Rail riders every day,” said Abdellah Chajai, GM CEO of Keolis Commuter Services. “The ‘Share the Love’ sweepstakes is a fun opportunity for passengers to tell us why they love riding the train. We look forward to hearing the responses from riders.”

More than 700 passengers participated in the sweepstakes in 2024, more than double the previous year. Some images of past submissions are below.
