MBTA COMMUTER RAIL AND KEOLIS ANNOUNCE SPECIAL EVENT TRAIN SERVICE FOR FULL LINEUP OF 2025 GILLETTE STADIUM CONCERTS
Concertgoers can avoid traffic and take the train to Gillette Stadium for concerts all summer long
Special event train tickets will be available for purchase at 11 a.m. two weeks before each show exclusively via the mTicket app
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The MBTA Commuter Rail and Keolis will be providing round-trip, special event train service to concerts at Gillette Stadium all summer long. Special event train service has been scheduled for the full lineup of 2025 concerts at Gillette Stadium, marking the second straight year that the MBTA Commuter Rail and Keolis will provide special event train service to each concert throughout the Gillette Stadium concert series. The 2025 lineup is as follows:
- AC/DC Power Up Tour (May 4)*
- Kendrick Lamar Grand National Tour (May 12)
- Post Malone Presents: The BIG ASS Stadium Tour (May 31)*
- The Weeknd After Hours Til Dawn Tour (June 10 & June 11)
- George Strait Stadium Tour (June 21)*
- Coldplay Music of the Spheres World Tour (July 15 & July 16)
- Morgan Wallen I’m The Problem Tour (Aug. 22 & Aug. 23*)
*Denotes service from Boston and Providence. All other concerts will have service from Boston only.
If applicable, any subsequent special event train service to Gillette Stadium will be announced and updated at mbta.com/destinations/gillette-stadium once confirmed.
Boston special event trains will depart from South Station with stops at Back Bay and Dedham Corporate Center before arriving at Foxboro Station. Providence special event trains will depart from Providence Station and make stops at Pawtucket/Central Falls, Attleboro and Mansfield before arriving at Foxboro Station. The complete schedule for each show will be published closer to each respective show date at mbta.com/destinations/gillette-stadium, but each special event train is projected to arrive in Foxborough approximately ninety minutes to one hour before each concert starts and will depart Foxboro Station 30 minutes after each concert ends.
Roundtrip tickets are $20 and can be purchased beginning at 11 a.m. two weeks before each show date exclusively via the mTicket app. Please note: for weekend concerts, tickets will go on sale at 11 a.m. on the Friday leading up to the weekend two weeks before the concert (i.e. tickets for the May 4 AC/DC special event trains will go on sale Friday, April 18 at 11 a.m.) For concerts with multiple Gillette Stadium dates, tickets will go on sale two weeks before the first show date (i.e. all special event train tickets for The Weeknd will go on sale at 11 a.m. on May 27, two weeks before June 10).
Tickets for each special event train will be sold separately and need to be purchased for the correct corresponding date, show and station of origin (Boston or Providence). Due to anticipated high demand, no refunds or exchanges will be available. Tickets must be purchased prior to boarding the event train. Please note: These are special event trains and ticket sales will be stopped once the maximum capacity is reached. Regular Commuter Rail tickets and passes are not valid for special event trains. For weekday concerts, guests choosing to travel to Gillette Stadium for the show via the Foxboro Station weekday Commuter Rail service will not be able to return to Boston following the conclusion of the concert via the special event train without purchasing a corresponding special event train ticket. Riders are also reminded that any prohibited items that do not comply with the stadium’s Clear Bag Policy will not be permitted on the train and no personal items may be left on the train during the concert. The 2025 Gillette Stadium Concert Series presented by Dunkin’ kicks off with AC/DC’s return to the home of the Patriots and Revolution for the first time since 2015 on May 4, 2025. The robust summer schedule features seven different headlining acts, including three making their venue debut, performing ten total concerts from May through August.
