MBTA AND KEOLIS ADJUST NEWBURYPORT/ROCKPORT COMMUTER RAIL SCHEDULE

Minor changes go into effect on Monday

July 31, 2024 (BOSTON) – Keolis Commuter Services, the operating partner for the MBTA Commuter Rail system, will implement a slightly adjusted schedule on the Newburyport/Rockport Commuter Rail Line which will take effect on Monday, August 5. The changes will ensure that the departure and arrival times of all trains better reflect the operations on these lines.

The new schedule adds two minutes to the arrival times for peak-hour morning and evening trains. In addition, train 146 inbound from Newburyport will depart five minutes earlier than the current schedule, at 7:54 a.m. Train 143 outbound from North Station to Newburyport will depart seven minutes later than the current schedule, at 7:07 a.m.
