KEOLIS CANADA REACHES NEW COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS WITH PRINCE GEORGE TRANSIT AND WHISTLER TRANSIT
Three- and four-year contracts ratified by employees to support continued reliable service for communities and riders
PRINCE GEORGE, B.C.; WHISTLER, B.C. – November 4, 2025 – Keolis Canada (Keolis) announces the successful ratification of new collective agreements for employees of Prince George Transit and Whistler Transit Ltd., which serve communities in northern and southwestern British Columbia. The agreements, finalized in August, were reached following negotiations with Teamsters Local 31 in Prince George and Unifor Local 114 (Whistler) in the Sea to Sky region.
On August 28, Prince George Transit employees ratified a four-year agreement expiring March 31, 2029. Earlier in the month, on August 18, Whistler and Squamish Transit employees ratified a three-year agreement expiring March 31, 2028. Both contracts provide improvements to wages, benefits, and vacation entitlements while contributing to continued stability and reliable service for Keolis passengers and communities.

As one of the largest transportation providers in Canada, Keolis has more than 800 buses, coaches, and tram vehicles in operation. Keolis provides urban transport and motorcoach services to more than 60 communities in the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Ontario, and Québec. Keolis also provides shuttle services to Montréal-Trudeau International Airport and Concordia University students. In Waterloo, Keolis operates Grand River Transit’s ION Light Rail network. Globally, Keolis operations span 13 countries on behalf of over 300 public transportation authorities.
