KEOLIS AND COMMUNITY GROUPS PARTNER TO BEAUTIFY THREE STATIONS ON THE FAIRMOUNT LINE
“Keolis Cares” efforts focused on Four Corners/Geneva, Talbot Avenue, and Morton Street Stations
May 19, 2026 (BOSTON) – Keolis Commuter Services (Keolis), the MBTA's operations and maintenance partner for Commuter Rail, recently completed cleanup and beautification efforts at three stations along the Fairmount Line as part of the company’s Keolis Cares program. Keolis volunteers worked with community groups and local elected officials at Four Corners/Geneva Station, Talbot Avenue Station and Morton Street Station to clear trash and debris, clear overgrown areas, and plant flowers.
“Keolis is proud to work with our community partners and elected officials to brighten stations each spring,” said Keolis CEO and General Manager John Killeen. “These stations are an important resource as Fairmount Line ridership continues to grow. I’d like to thank all of the Keolis employees, neighborhood groups, and local officials who volunteered their time at these cleanup efforts.”
The events were held in partnership with the Fairmount Indigo CDC Collaborative, Four Corners Main Streets, Boston International Newcomers Academy, and Redefining our Community (ROC).

“Thank you to Keolis for partnering with the community to organize these cleanups,” said Senator Nick Collins. “Together with our neighborhood associations, civic groups and our young people, this effort gives Fairmount Line Corridor a boost of green and pride!”
“Thank you to Keolis for organizing these cleanups and for partnering with community groups, residents, and students to care for our neighborhood stations,” said Senator Liz Miranda. “The Fairmount Line is an incredibly important resource for the communities it serves, connecting residents to jobs, schools, healthcare, and opportunity every single day. Events like this create an opportunity for people to come together, take pride in their neighborhood station, and invest in the shared public spaces that strengthen our communities.”
"I would like to thank Keolis for their continued commitment and dedication to organizing annual cleanups in partnership with students and community groups,” said Representative Russell Holmes. “The Fairmount line is an important resource and these efforts provide an opportunity for constituents to feel a sense of ownership in their neighborhood station."
“Thanks to Keolis Cares for a great day cleaning up stations along the Fairmount line in the 5th Suffolk district!” said Representative Chris Worrell. “It was incredible to see all ages of our community come together to take care of our land. It is essential that we continue to work in partnerships to protect and upkeep our transportation resources throughout the district.”
“Last week, I had the honor of joining Keolis for a neighborhood cleanup at the Four Corners/Bowdoin Street commuter rail stop in Dorchester,” said City Councilor at Large Ruthzee Louijeune. “Thank you to Keolis for organizing the Keolis Cares Cleanup with community members, leaders, and students and for the care you show alongside our communities so that people can be proud of their neighborhood station.”
“Thank you to Keolis for organizing these cleanups and continuing to invest in the communities along the Fairmount Line,” said City Councilor Henry Santana. “It was great to be out there alongside local community groups, students, and residents who care deeply about their neighborhoods. The Fairmount Line is an important resource and connector for so many families across our city, and efforts like this help create a stronger sense of pride, ownership, and care around our neighborhood stations.”
“The Fairmount Line is a critical resource for our communities,” said Marilyn Forman, Co Chair of the Fairmount Indigo Transit Coalition. “It’s inspiring to see students, residents, community organizations, and our elected officials come together to support and beautify these neighborhood stations along with Keolis. We appreciate Keolis for the opportunity to partner in organizing this effort and helping create spaces that reflect the pride and strength of our neighborhoods.”
